Adventures in the Kitchen...Part Two and a Half!!!

This has been an interesting day in the paint world.

I have kept those tan colors up on my wall since yesterday and have not been able to pick one because it all comes down to...
I don't like any of them! I want color!!

So today I grabbed my Sherwin Williams paint picker outer and went to town trying to find blues and greens that would go with the general theme I am attempting in the kitchen.

One trip to Home Depot and 7...yes 7...8 oz paint samples later this is what I ended up with.

There are ELEVEN paint colors on that wall!!

And to top it all off, Joe left for Michigan for work and isn't here to help me with the dilemma. I have sent him pictures but pictures never show the true color.

Here are some close ups of what I threw on the wall

So after a few emails and phone calls with Joe, we got the paint colors narrowed down to two choices. But of course I had to prime back over all this mess so that the next coat of paint would go on evenly.

So the two colors we are deciding between (and by we, I mean us since Joe told me to surprise him).

Peacock Plume
and
Leapfrog

The green actually looks a lot better in person than in the picture...the picture makes it look a little like vomit! And I would not have vomit green on my walls!!

Now here is the kicker...what do I pick by tomorrow? The Leapfrog green actually goes better with the plates that I am pulling the color from but the Peacock Plume doesn't look bad either. I feel like blue is always the more popular choice and that makes me lean towards the green...but I really like that blue too!!

Ahhhh!!!!
What to do, what to do?!?!

More on this saga tomorrow, after I stare at the walls some more...
