My Babies

I decided to post a little blurb about each of my puppies. It's all I got since I don't have kids yet. Joe and I are crazy about them and they have the most fun personalities!

Roxanne "Roxy"
Roxy is the stubborn dog. She is a little over 7 years old and quite stuck in her ways. If she doesn't want to do something she lets you (or the other dogs) know. She is definitely the Alpha Dog among the three and I don't see that ever changing. She puts the boys in their place most of the time.

Here Roxy was just a baby...just a couple of days old. This is when I fell in love with her back in 2004
I brought her home from the breeder in North Carolina when she was 7 weeks old

This picture she is probably around 1 1/2 - I have a lot of other pictures that are on film from when she is younger but I haven't scanned them in yet. This was while we were living in Virginia

And now Roxy is over 7 and has been through quite a lot. She has been through multiple moves with me and has recently fought through Facial Paralysis and Vestibular Syndrome but she is doing great now! A few side effects but over all pretty awesome!

Enjoying the sun
 Checking out the newest puppy

Maximus "Max"

Joe and I rescued Max from the SPCA this past January. He had been left there for months and months and had been neglected by his previous owners.
With that said, Max is a great dog...he is one of the most affectionate animals I have ever been around and is definitely the most goofy thing I have ever seen.
He is 2 1/2 years old and does face issues being a white Boxer but mostly it is just that he gets sunburned super easy. We sunscreen him up every day and when he does get burned we aloe him up ever night!

This picture is when we first got him. He was severely under weight at right around 55 pounds. You can see his ribs clearly compared to Roxy laying next to him.

He is now grown into himself and varies in weight between 70 and 75 pounds.

Like I said...he is a very silly boy

Capone "Caponaroni"

OK, Caponaroni is not his name at all but I love calling him that. Capone was born in January of this year and Joe and I were able to bring him home from his Texan breeder in March. He is definitely our dare devil rebel!
You wouldn't think that so much spunk could be in such a little puppy, but this little guy shocks most everyone!

Capone at 5 weeks old...still with the breeder

9 weeks old and breaking hearts

Growing up so fast!!!

And an example of his rebellion! I walked into the living room the other day and this is what I found. All the boxes are the presents from my bridal shower that are still in the process of being put up...

So there are our babies. As things change and they do crazy things I will post them but I figured this might be a nice introduction!

  2. Max will do that...he is the one that draws everyone in. I don't know if its his googley eyes or just that fact that he is so affectionate! He will slip you some tongue if he has the chance!
